Alliance Infrastructure and Urban Planning Council 
A national platform dedicated to shaping sustainable, connected, and future-ready urban and regional infrastructure across Pakistan.

To create livable cities, efficient transport corridors, and resilient infrastructure that support inclusive growth and regional integration of Pakistan.


Objectives of the Alliance Infrastructure and Urban Planning Council:

  1. Promote integrated urban planning and smart city development across Pakistan.
  2. Support sustainable infrastructure development with environmental and social safeguards.
  3. Strengthen national and regional connectivity through modern road, rail, and logistics networks.
  4. Advocate for evidence-based policies, planning frameworks, and zoning reforms.
  5. Facilitate investment in infrastructure through public-private partnerships (PPPs).
  6. Enhance institutional capacity in urban design, transport planning, and land use.
  7. Encourage regional coordination on cross-border and interprovincial infrastructure.
  8. Promote resilience in infrastructure planning to address climate change and urban risks.

  1. National Urban Planning Framework – Developing model master plans, zoning regulations, and planning toolkits for cities.
  2. Smart & Resilient Cities Program – Promoting digital infrastructure, public spaces, and green urban solutions.
  3. Regional Connectivity Initiative – Designing and supporting projects that link provinces and border regions through strategic corridors.
  4. Sustainable Infrastructure Investment Forum – Mobilizing finance and PPPs for roads, housing, and urban services.
  5. Urban-Rural Integration Drive – Planning peri-urban growth, satellite towns, and integrated regional economies.
  6. Infrastructure Policy & Reform Platform – Facilitating regulatory improvements, standards, and transparent land use systems.
  7. Capacity Building & Urban Leadership Program – Training planners, engineers, and local officials in modern urban development practices.
  8. GeoData & Mapping Innovation Lab – Using GIS, satellite imagery, and digital tools to support planning and monitoring.
