– Accelerate adoption of cost-effective tech (prefab, 3D printing) to reduce construction costs/time.
3. Strengthen Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs)
– Create transparent frameworks for joint ventures on mixed-income housing projects.
– Mobilize private investment through REITs, land pooling, and risk-sharing models.
4. Empower Communities Through Engagement
– Implement participatory design programs for slum upgrading/relocation projects.
– Train residents in construction trades to boost local employment in housing projects.
5. Ensure Equitable Resource Distribution
– Develop a national housing database to target underserved groups
– Allocate government land for social housing with priority for marginalized communities.
6. Modernize the Real Estate Sector
– Digitize land records and streamline approvals to reduce corruption/delays.
– Regulate speculative practices to stabilize prices and increase affordability.
7. Enhance Economic Mobility Through Housing
– Integrate microfinance and rent-to-own schemes for informal workers.
– Co-locate childcare/healthcare/commercial activities in housing projects to reduce poverty traps.
8. Initiate real estate schemes solely and collaboratively
