Purpose of the Webinar

To explore how technological and medicinal advancements can be effectively integrated into Pakistan’s health sector, and to discuss the systemic, infrastructural, and policy challenges that hinder their full potential.


Brief Description

Pakistan’s health sector is witnessing a growing influx of modern technologies and advanced medical practices. Yet, the benefits of these innovations are unevenly distributed and often face resistance due to infrastructural gaps, policy inertia, and affordability issues. This webinar brings together health professionals, technologists, policymakers, and scholars to deliberate on practical strategies to bridge these divides. The aim is to foster collaboration and propose actionable solutions for a more equitable and technologically integrated health system in Pakistan.


Qualifications for Speakers

  • Medical doctors, public health experts, health tech innovators, policy advisors, or academics.
  • Proven experience in health systems, medical technology, healthcare delivery, or digital health.
  • Prior experience in public speaking, research, or consulting will be a plus.

Expectations from Speakers

  • Present evidence-based perspectives or practical experiences.
  • Engage with the audience through interactive discussions or case studies.
  • Recommend policy or operational interventions aligned with the topic.

Proceeding of the Webinar

  1. Opening Remarks (5 mins): Host introduction and purpose of the session.
  2. Keynote Address (10 mins): Delivered by a prominent healthcare leader.
  3. Panel Presentations (3–4 speakers, 5-10 mins each): Diverse insights on tech, medicine, and policy.
  4. Moderated Discussion (20 mins): Panel debate and cross-talk.
  5. Audience Q&A (15 mins): Participants engage directly with speakers.
  6. Concluding Remarks (5 mins): Summary, recommendations, and acknowledgments.

Guidelines for Speakers

  • After a registration and acceptance you will receive notification through email and whatsApp along a meeting link.
  • Share slides, if any, at least 48 hours before the webinar.
  • Keep presentations concise, focused, and within time limits.
  • Use layman-friendly language where needed for accessibility.
  • Respect differing viewpoints and ensure inclusive language.
  • Join the session 15 minutes early for technical setup.

Guidelines for Participants

  • After a registration and acceptance you will receive notification through email and whatsApp along a meeting link.
  • Join at least 5 minutes before start time to avoid disruption.
  • Mute microphone during talks; unmute only when speaking.
  • Use the chat or hand-raise feature for questions.
  • Keep questions concise and relevant.
  • Fill out the feedback form at the end to receive your certificate.
