Purpose of the Webinar

To explore the multifaceted crisis facing Pakistan’s pharmaceutical industry, analyze key policy and regulatory barriers, and discuss viable pathways for reform, innovation, and sustainability.


Brief Description

Pakistan’s pharmaceutical industry is at a critical juncture. Faced with rising production costs, inconsistent regulatory frameworks, dependency on imported raw materials, pricing challenges, and limited research investment, the sector struggles to grow sustainably. This webinar brings together leading voices from the pharma sector, regulatory authorities, economists, and policy experts to examine the depth of these challenges and explore both immediate and long-term solutions. The session will focus on how the industry can adapt, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to national health goals.

  2. Keynote Address (10 minutes): Framing the national context of pharma challenges
  3. Panel Presentations (3–4 speakers, 10 minutes each): Diverse viewpoints on regulatory, economic, and operational aspects
  4. Panel Discussion (20 minutes): Collaborative exchange of ideas and policy directions
  5. Audience Q&A (15 minutes): Live engagement with participants
  6. Closing Remarks (5 minutes): Summary of key insights and next steps

  • After a registration and acceptance you will receive notification through email and whatsApp along a meeting link.
  • Submit any presentation material 48 hours in advance
  • Ensure clarity, evidence-based content, and adherence to time limits
  • Be ready for technical checks and early login (15 minutes before start)
  • Use inclusive, respectful language and welcome differing views
  • Participate fully in Q&A and discussion segments
