Alliance Engineers Forum

Vision

To empower engineers in Pakistan through professional development, industry integration, and global exposure—bridging the gap between engineering potential and national progress.

Context & Purpose

Engineers in Pakistan face a range of challenges including underemployment, lack of practical training, outdated curricula, limited R&D support, and weak industry-academia linkages. Many qualified engineers remain jobless or are forced to take unrelated work due to disconnects between education and market needs. The Alliance Engineers Forum aims to address these gaps and create sustainable pathways for career growth, innovation, and recognition of engineers as key contributors to national development.

Objectives

  1. Giving a formal role in policy making
  2. Enhance Employability – Equip engineers with market-relevant technical and soft skills to increase job readiness.
  3. Bridge Education-Industry Gaps – Facilitate practical learning and align engineering education with industrial needs.
  4. Support Career Development – Provide mentoring, certifications, job placement, and entrepreneurship support.
  5. Foster Innovation & R&D – Encourage problem-solving, research, and product development, especially in local context.
  6. Promote Ethical & Sustainable Engineering – Strengthen professional ethics, environmental awareness, and public safety practices.
  7. Advocate for Engineers’ Rights & Representation – Voice concerns regarding employment conditions, policy participation, and sector development.
  8. Connect with Global Networks – Enable engineers to access international knowledge, standards, and opportunities.
