Alliance IT Professionals Forum
Vision
To empower Pakistan’s IT professionals through skill development, global connectivity, and institutional support—making them competitive, innovative, and central to national and global digital transformation.
Context & Purpose
Despite having a growing pool of talented IT graduates and freelancers, Pakistan’s IT sector faces systemic challenges that hinder its full potential:
- Mismatched skills and outdated university curricula not aligned with industry needs
- Lack of structured career development and mentorship, especially for fresh graduates
- Limited local job opportunities, pushing many toward unstable freelancing
- Poor infrastructure, digital payment bottlenecks, and inconsistent internet access
- Brain drain of skilled professionals due to better global opportunities and lack of incentives to stay
- Weak linkages between academia, industry, and government
- Minimal representation of Pakistani IT talent in international platforms and tech innovation hubs
- Gender disparity and limited participation of women in IT
The Alliance IT Professionals Forum seeks to bridge these gaps by creating an integrated support system for IT professionals at every stage of their career.
